susandennisLast week I had a missed call on my cellphone. When I looked it up, it was a number listed to Geeks on Call in Virginia. Today the bastards got me. "We see that you called us out to fix your computer and we are calling all our customers to see if they want us to come out for a computer tuneup!!"
1. Check your notes, you are calling Seattle, the computer you fixed was in Charleston and was my mother's.
2. At the time I placed the order you asked me if I was interested in literature. I requested at the time that unless it was in regard to this one particular issue that you never send me anything or solicit me in any way.
2. Interestingly, I have not changed my mind.
3. If I need you, I found you the first time, I can find you again.
4. Do not EVER EVER EVER fucking call me again.
5. Have a nice day.
But the fun part of this whole thing was that earlier today I figured out how to get the new Google Blog search to work on my LJ User page. And so when I wanted to know when exactly it was that I got the original call, I just went to my user page, plugged in Geeks on Call and whammo/bammo - there's the entry! How sweet is that???
