Ok, Thom gets a big raspberry... He left a comment on my last entry and now I can't the fucking song of «Il est né, le divin enfant» out of my head. Thanks bunches, dude... I was ok with the Bank of America one... it left my head pretty darned quickly but this one has its needle stuck.

Now that I have had my Christmas cookies, I'm feeling a bit more Christmas-ey.

Doesn't hurt that I'm getting cards from people I haven't heard from in years.

I worked with Jean in the late 70's when her kids were teenagers reports now that her oldest is now 42 and the twins are 39. When you don't have kids, you aren't slapped in the face with advanced age until Christmas rolls around and those babies send you pictures of their babies. Smack!

And Earl... I spent lots of Christmases with Earl on various Carribean Islands. He's been retired now for a decade and he's actually doing retirement just like he always wanted to... driving here to see this old friend and there to see that one and making new ones. I hope he's as happy as his card and note depicts.
