Pretty good so far

The closet has been purged.  Even the 'maybe some day' pile is going to the Goodwill this time.  With the vacuum cleaner. 

The desk has been reordered.  I moved the printer under the desk and rearranged things a bit.  I also discovered that if I turn on the light by the monitor, I can see the screen better.  While this sounds pretty darned obvious, it wasn't.  It is only now becoming the time of year when it is dark so much.  When it is light, this corner with this screen really needs no extra lighting.  I bought a nice, bright desk lamp but really haven't used it much.

This morning, however, it was pitch black when I came in to check the computer and I turned the light on.  Now it is daylight and it still makes a huge difference.  I thought I was going to have to move the monitor more towards me which is more complicated than it sounds since it would mean moving the cords - plugging and replugging.  Plus it would eliminate the nice desk area here in front so I'm thinking now if I turn the light on, I won't have to move it.

Next I need to put my shoes on and haul this shit down to the car.  Stop at the library, the Goodwill and the grocery and then I might take the rest of the day off.  Maybe.  (Oh I hung up a battery operated light on either side of the closet and I changed the sheets.)

I'm still kind of in a crabby mood from yesterday but I'm fighting it.  I'll win.
