Sunday I sent a note to my neighbors, Sherry and Lee to confirm that they will come check on the cats, feed the fish and make sure it's not raining in the living room again while I'm gone next week.  I didn't hear a peep.   Sherry (who handles the home email) is not that good about replying and I didn't say 'answer now' but what if they were out of town (not so probable since I'm not cat sitting for them!) or for some reason would not be able to cat sit.

I got no Plan B.  So I started calling today.  Sherry usually has Tuesdays off but there was no answering today.  Finally 6ish, Lee answered and they are on board.  Whew.  She did acknowledge that it was their policy not to piss off someone who has a key to their condo. Very smart. 

letmesaythis just left me an interesting comment about the anonymous comment I got yesterday... She's wondering if maybe my nephew found my LJ and left the comment himself.  I honestly don't think so - I think was just some other guy who also needs to be whacked with a clue stick.  However, I did look through the ljtoys to see if I could get a clue.  Sure enough around the time the comment was made there was someone logged on from a Comcast account in Massachusetts who read the journal.  It was someone not logged on to LJ.  But, the timing is off by several hours and, best I can tell, the hours are the wrong way - they were looking at the page AFTER the comment was made.  There are a couple of other clues that lead me to believe it is not him.  But it is curious...

I wonder if Mom doesn't, on some level, resent her having to depend on me and that's what's behind her attitude.  Also, I think she has far more times when she really doesn't feel good than she lets on.  It's only a week.  I can do it.  It's only a week. 

My Sprint plan comes with 300 minutes a month. I rarely use more than 100.  I'm now at 200 and I still have 2 weeks to go before the end of the billing month.  Glad I thought to look.  I may need to change plans.  I'm going to worry about that at about 270.
