The bits du jour

I am still in bed...  but I am only a partial slacker.  Since waking up this morning, I have - from this very bed:

Had/having coffee
Read the morning paper
Checked and answered email
Edited two short docs, sent one back to the writer and one on to the next reviewer
Fixed Mom's email problem and cleaned out her old emails
Read my friends' LJs and a few blogs
Sorted some work emails
Requested a phone meeting and wrote up the agenda for same

And, now I'm writing an LJ entry.  Jake is sacked out at my feet and Betty has gone on to investigate something.  It is quiet and nice. 

The snow isn't too deep yet.  That's mainly because the only flakes of snow I've seen so far have been on the tv forecasts. the newspaper forecasts and on the internet.  Faux snow in my book.

Today I'm having lunch with my friend, Susan, from PAR3 and Kenny Lu.  Friday is Susan's last day there.  Today is $5 Burger Wednesday. 

I need to make a quick trip to the library this morning - turn in one and pick up a hold.

Now it is 8:30 and I need to get up, get into the shower and get dressed.
