This entry is brought to you by Premera's telephone tree.  I am on hold waiting to find out what kind of vision coverage I have if any. So far it's not so bad...  It's one of those talking trees and it seems be happy with all my answers...

Holey crapoly.  I expected to be on hold while I typed out this entry.  That plan was interrupted by a person who:

1. Did not ask me any stupid questions.
2. Did not ask me to repeat anything that the automated telephone system asked.
3. Told me I had pretty much perfect coverage - $15 co pay in or out of network.
4. I want to go to an optician and that is covered the same way.
5. WITH $150 worth of hardware (glasses or contact lenses)...  (and a year's worth of contact lenses costs me $50)

And the call was over before I could finish the first paragraph of this entry!

I am now on hold with Sears.  Their talking tree appears to be hearing impaired.  Very sad.  And lip reading or ASL could be a bit much to ask, I suspect.  Oh and their Optical department does not seem to be in yet.  Oh well.  I can get them later.

My teeth were pretty sore yesterday but today they have forgiven me.  Debbie, the fabulous dental hygienist, gave me some different toothpaste to help with the pressure sensitivity.  She said to use it for a month and see if it makes a difference.  It tastes fine and doesn't seem to have any nasty side effects like lip stinging, etc.  So I looked it up this morning and the fucking stuff is prescription toothpaste??!!!  Who in the hell ever thought of prescription toothpaste?  Godforbid I develop some rabid toothpaste habit and start having to buy it from shady street dealers or, worse, turn into a toothpaste pusher myself.

I'm off in just a bit for a mid-day art/lunch adventure with Kieran and Alan.

Sears Optical opened up.  They will be happy to see me tomorrow at 1:30.  Note to self:  see if you can remember what it was you wanted to get at Home Depot... Oh - bumper foam for the new Roomba...  Home Depot is across the street from Sears.

Off to get culture.  Backatcha later.
