Netflix cure

Two movies so far this weekend. Miami Rhapsody. $2 out of kjaz's $8 scale. And then Big Daddy which is a really stupid Adam Sandler flick that was so engaging I was mesmerized. I was really transported right into the film.

I have no idea how it got on my list. I am not generally charmed by adorable children and certainly not by men who act like unadorable children - this was a movie that was nothing but both. And I was seriously sucked in.

And, when it was over, I felt like a new person. Not someone who is facing job loss but someone who has exciting new stuff coming in the very near future.

This is really silly but I'm not going to knock it. Go figure.

Sounds like it was a good "escape" movie!

I've recently seen "Frida" and "American Rhapsody."
Both based on real-life and both good.

I also saw "Uncle Buck"...but I love anything John Candy is in and I had not seen that one.

Keep your chin up Susan! You kept me focused during my search, and I'll do the same for you if I have to! Whoever employs you next should feel honored/blessed to get you.....so the search is on!

Remember you are supposed to enjoy your weekend time for yourself....back to the work world is for Monday! I know...easier said then done....but try hard.
