So I was doing my morning LJ reading propped up in bed using the laptop and I clicked to add a comment and the entire screen went to green.  No icons.  No message.  Just one blank green screen.  Never saw that before.  Turned it off and turned it back on and all seems fine.  Computers have such strange personalities.

The woman at Mom's 'home' who has to fill out the forms Mom needs to get her insurance checks is now out until Thursday on a 'family emergency' according to her phone message.  I think it's so interesting that more than once over the past 14 months that Mom has lived in her care, when she has fucked something up and I have to call her ever day until it is fixed, she has had a 'family emergency'.  Reminds me of a woman I used to work with who's mother died so often that when she was absent from work we used to muse 'hmmmm is this the annual death of her mother again?'

Yes, I am a cold, heartless bitch but I want this fucking form filled out.

It's raining outside this morning but not inside and I take that as a good sign.  I do not have anywhere that I have to go today and I have a giant, heads down project that needs to be finished by midnight so I'm going to pull on some sweats and get to it.  Back later.
