susandennisAll is good so far... I've got three projects going for work that are all competing for my time and I need to scoot out of here in just a bit for my eye appointment.
My day started out as usual with the daily effort to either trick 'the home' into responding to my email or phone calls about the insurance form, or calling the insurance company and begging for more time. No joy from 'the home' but I did get another week out of IDS. Thank you. Due to the holidays and family emergency and whateverelse they are using as the excuse du jour, I've moved my personal deadline until next Wednesday. If no action by then, over the heads I go. First to the assistant head of the place and if she's not there, then it's going to be Mr. Boss Man. Set up the pins, folks, cause heads are going to roll.
And the bitch of it is, that we'll do this all again - probably just like this - next year.
I wonder how IDS gets the forms when the policy holder can't help and/or doesn't have anyone like me to fight the fight?
And the rains are still raining... inside and out. My one wall - the one that backs onto the terrace - is so wet the paint is bubbling. I am getting used to the sound of the water dropping onto the plastic.
The list of ways it could all be so much worse is too long to even contemplate so I am a happy camper. Pollyfuckinganna. That's me!
