susandennisMy sister in law, Trey, will get to Charleston on Wednesday afternoon about 5ish. My brother called and said that she really really really wants to go. Their new computer store is having their grand opening soon so, as it turns out, this is really the only time she could get away. She'll be there until Sunday. Then I suspect my sister may go. Mom is most comfortable around Trey (probably really more than me and my sister in the this kind of situation. I'm useless and my sister is the drama queen around whom the world revolves). Plus Trey and Polly are a good team.
Whew. I am so grateful. Trey is a nickname that she got because she is my brother's third wife. (I think, actually, that he may be her third husband, too... not sure about that.) Anyway, she's the one we need to keep. I'm pretty sure that if she and my brother split, Mom might well vote to keep her and send him packing.
It was kind of gray and kind of drippy out - pretty good walking weather (at least you know it's not going to get too hot!)... So I set out. I went over and grabbed a bus to the other side of downtown and then got out and meandered. No big adventure. Just in and out of stores, by windows, and down streets. I had my backpack and it was nearly empty and I bought nothing. It was nice. I meandered for about an hour until I landed back home. I got a few pix but not so many...
And now it's Netflix time. Oh wait, no... it's laundry folding time... THEN Netflix time.
