This just in from my sister:

BTW, there is something strange about the graphics/resolution on Mom's computer.  The letters are blue and green and there are white spots in the pictures.  I have done nothing but email, write one letter on word and look at websites.  Mom will not be able to read it when she gets back on.

Note: Mom does not have Word on her computer....

I knew she was going to fuck something up but I thought for sure it was going to be software. Nope... hardware. She has now managed to break the fucking monitor!!! Holey crap. And it's a no-name LCD one I got a couple of years ago. I cannot remember what, if any controls it has and, of course, can't reach it from here.

Edit: Ok... turns out it was something she did to the software. I VPN'd in and did a system restore back to the day before she got there. Next note from her is that the problem has now disappeared. Oh how I wish I could make her disappear. How in the hell could she have even done that??!!! Cripes! But, I would like to say that System Restore is the a giftfromgod.
