susandennisI made a quick run to the library tonight and passed the Mariner stadium on the way home. They have these giant picture windows along the main street and most of the windows are coated with way bigger than life sized photos of the players. Of course, since the Mariners mainly sucked so much in the past few years, players come and go faster than the windows can be updates. I noticed the other day that precious few of the dozen or so players so pictured have moved on or quit baseball.
Tonight, I saw they were peeling off one of the old guys... the first in the block - they are clearly starting there and moving down the block. Cool! But, isn't it too early? We're not done with football yet! But, wait... Spring Training starts in a little more than 2 weeks!! The first Spring Training game is 35 days from now! Holey moley!
Of course, usually around here, football ends weeks ago so the gap between is way bigger. But, heck. this year football season nearly overlaps with baseball! Kewel.
