funner days

susandennisI have had funner days.
I am having massive connection issues with my client's network so I can't do any of the work that they are now frantic to get done.
And, another client called out of the blue to discuss another project that I was not at all ready to talk about but had to drop everything and get ready on the fly.
And in the middle of all of that, Polly calls my cellphone. Then she leaves a message saying 'it's time to escalate over Sarah's head - I'll call you later and explain.' I do not for a minute believe it's time to escalate over Sarah's head but I did talk to Mom this morning and she is still having medicine issues but there ain't a thing in the world that Sarah's boss can do that she's not already doing. So at some point today I'll need to listen to Polly and talk her down.
And then I get a note from Sheri letting me know that the Part II deux redesign effort is proceeding at the same snail's pace that we saw in Part I.
I could very easily and quickly turn into:
