susandennisIt is 2:30 and there is not a stack o' shit that has to be done by 3 and my phone is not ringing off the hook and no one is after my ass to get this done or that. Really... at 2:30 in the freakin' p.m.!! It's amazing.
We send in our hours twice a month - they were due today. My billable hours for the last 15 days total 124 and a half. Since I have some time, I'll just do the math. Hmmmm it's only 8.3 hours a day. It sure feels like it's been 15 hours a day! It sure is nice to get a little break, though, I tell ya.
Tomorrow I have a conference call at 10 and a meeting at Microsoft at 11. So I'll be doing the conference call from the lobby where my 11 a.m. meeting is. Should work.
My chaise cushion is off getting stuff. I'm hoping that it comes home tomorrow. Sheri promised it would be back before Thursday afternoon. Kieran and Alan are coming over for a drink and then we are going to our favorite Chinese restaurant.
Woohoo my conference call tomorrow just got canceled. Excellent.
I asked Sheri for a schedule of when she's going to have info about the stuff on the rest of the list for Redecorating Part Deux and she sent that today. Sounds like she's going to have news on everything next week. I'm ready. My new chair floor arrives tomorrow and her guy who is going to raise up the desk (levitation?) comes Monday at 1.
I saw the UPS guy leave here with my Roomba but the tracking number says he hasn't picked it up yet. Hmmmm I have a very excellent UPS guy. Wonder if his hand held thingie is broken (and that deserves a giggle. I know.).
I could make my plane reservations or at least look into them... I told Mom I would come see her in July. It's going to be too hot to be bearable but she promised me she would make sure her air conditioner was working. July is really the only time that makes sense. I will go in November as always. But, I need to go sooner, too. Tina, at work, says that July is usually spent trying to wring out new PO's for the new fiscal year so it's kind of a down time for doers.

I was going to stop by the ATM and get some cash while I was on campus tomorrow. I think now I'll just put my shoes on, grab my card combine a little mini leisure stroll with some cash getting.
