Two very good things

Actually 3. It's very cold tonight and I'm enjoying it but I'm also very much appreciating big warm cats who melt into my lap. Jake took the first shift. While I was knitting and watching TV, he made a nice, heavy, lap warmer.

Then when his shift was over and it was time to clock out, here comes Betty.

I'm sure they will both get fined or maybe even kicked out of the cat union for this devotion to a human, but I'm happy.

Oh and the real second thing is Dave. The movie. I watched it tonight. I saw it years ago but I remembered it's being good and watched it again. It was really good. If you've never seen it, treat yourself. It's at least $7.50 on kjaz's $8 scale. And, honestly, I think everyone in the world is in it except for maybe you and me. I'd forgotten that this movie is where Bonnie Hunt does her 'We're walking... we're walking..." thing. See it.

Dave is a good movie. One of the few I have a copy of on DVD which I rewatch occasionally. Of course, I am a Sigourney Weaver fan, even though I have never figured out how I can find someone with that tiny a mouth in that much jaw attractive.
