Hardware issues

susandennisI can't get a radio to give me a clear signal for our NPR station. I'm listening through my desktop which is fine but what's with my radios??
My work laptop is having a seizure. I rebooted after about a week since my last reboot. It was grinding down to pretty darned slow. I hate to reboot during the week because getting back onto the corporate network after a fresh reboot can be tough and I usually don't have time to fuck with it during the week. So I reboot on weekends. But today, it came up with the horrid black screen. Asking if I wanted the last known good boot up... er yeah, thanks.
Only it just kept doing that. Then I rolled back to the last check point. It rolled back fine but didn't like that either. Now I'm in safe mode doing a back up of the critical stuff onto my external drive before I rollback to another checkpoint. If that doesn't work, then I think I'll panic.
CRAP. At least I got a good bit ofwork done this morning so I'm not back against the wall.
