I got a note from Polly a bit ago going on and on about all of the stuff that Nancy needed her to do and she didn't have time and she wasn't sure what I wanted and on and on and mentioning poor Tres (my sister in law) in passing...

So I called and talked her down. I told her that I needed her to get the original of Mom's will from Nancy and then the key to the apartment as she left town and that was the end of what she should do for or with Nancy. "But she needs help getting all the stuff she wants shipped!" "Is her arm broken? What can you do that she can't?" Nothing. Then let her do it. If she wants the shit badly enough she'll figure it out. If not, then we'll donate it like we planned after she leaves.

And, apparently Nancy is not being very kind or cordial to my brother's wife which really pisses me off. Poor Tres was there for Mom way more than Nancy or Bill or I was in many many ways. She is also a certified packrat and would love to have all the stuff that Nancy is getting but 1) Nancy wants it and 2) my brother won't put up with more crap. So she's getting kind of the shaft which I feel badly enough about but for Nancy to add insult to injury by crapping on her just really is not necessary.

I sent a note to Nancy and told her that Polly will be there at 9:15 in the morning to pick up the will and I needed confirmation that she (Nancy) would leave it for her or be there to hand it to her. And I needed to know when she was leaving so we could get the apartment closed.

I then VPN'd to Mom's computer to make sure the sound was on (and turned up) and the 'you've got mail' wav was connected to the email app and then I sent the note. And stayed on to make sure she read it and replied. I'm such a sneaky bitch.

She said she would make sure the will was left for Polly and she was thinking maybe Thursday. Of course, this just gives Polly a lot less time to do all the stuff she has to do after Nancy leaves. There's nothing that thrills Nancy more than making everyone else's life difficult. I am so counting the days until I never ever have to deal with her passive agressive self again.
