what a freakin day!!

susandennisI started out and took a car load of stuff to GoodWill. And then I got stuck in morning rush hour + road constructions. Got to the office...
Now, picture this - it's a small office - a long narrow room with about a dozen desks. I don't know most of the people but now there's one I want to find out about. I got there just after he did and while I was waiting for the boss to get organized, I saw this guy log onto his computer, check his email and then fire up... what's that???? an LJ page??!! Ha! Cracked me up. It was one of the default styles. I have no clue what his real name is but that's easy to find out. The LJ name may be harder...
Anyway, the boss tried several things and gave up so we just decided to start from scratch again... so I had to load it up... it had Windows but that was it... So I did... one bit after another until it was 12:30 and I had to split.
Made it home in time for Sheri and the microwave guy. Meanwhile got another document from Mom's estate that needed a notary and fast return mail so I did that while Sheri made small talk with the installer guy then she had to go and I did the small talk - he's the same one who will install the dishwasher on Friday so I wanted him to be my buddy. He is.
Then he left - the microwave is BEAUTIFUL - and I had to run to the post office - my hands were totally full and, of course, I dumped my purse upside down while at the counter. Fortunately, I carry precious little so there was not much to pick up but it was funny. Then home to download and install more stuff and get everything configured.
I'm close to being done and I'm pretty sure that tomorrow can be set aside for catching up and I plan to do that. So... WHEW!
