susandennisStill, I spent so much of today loading fucking software. And then I learned that one critical piece wasn't going to work and I need more memory so my boss told me to buy what I need and he'd pay full retail plus overnight delivery. Nice of him, really. Especially since between the full retail price and the shipping, he paid 2x what he would have had the help desk given me the correct info last month. But, he was very cool about the whole thing and apologized cause my machine went south. I'm ok with it all.
I got a call mid-day from a woman from some shipping company saying she had my delivery and was it ok to bring tomorrow? What delivery? Something from S & H Trade Sales? I was very confused. Turned out it was the terrace furniture!! Sheri said it would be delivered by April 11. I guess she made her date!
The fridge and dishwasher are coming tomorrow and the lighting guy. So... let's review the bidding:
- Sheri and electrician will be here at 9 to install the lights over the fish bed.
- Sometimes between 9 and 10, the fridge and the dishwasher will come and the old fridge will be taken to fridge heaven.
- By 10:30 my critical software and memory will be here (and I need to get that shit installed and do the work that has backed up)
- Between 1 and 4 comes the terrace furniture.
I'm glad Sheri will be here. It's going to be a little buzy(sic) around here...
My brother just sent me a cool little TV commercial that his company made for him and two other stores in Texas.
And I just realized that it is 5 fucking 30! I thought it was like 4. Holy Daylight, Batman... I'm not sure I'm ready for Spring. Oh well.
