Was it Murphy or his cousin who's law covers the deal when you have lots to write about but no time left to write and when you have nothing but spare time to write, the content is a snoozer?

But, things are perking up. I have a little work task I'm saving for the baseball game tonight. And one of my favorite clients came back from vacation today and sent email about wanting to set up a purchase order so she can have more of my time. And the project manager said she had just finished up and sent in a bid on a new project for me. So... it will get better.

And, it was cool enough today back in the fish room to get some good reading use out of the fish bed. Until I got the light installed in the ceiling, reading back there wasn't worth the trouble to hunt down a lamp to see by, remember to get the phone extension, etc. Now I can just grab my book and scooch up the rheostat and I'm in for some comfy reading. It has so turned out to be exactly the place I wanted it to be.

The phone actually did ring. The desk chair lady finally called me back. I'm off to see her tomorrow at 3. And when I went to put that on my calendar, I discovered that tomorrow is the day I'm having lunch with my friend, Patty. I worked with Patty at the dot com that went under. Then she went home to Chicago and went to library school and now she's back but I don't think she's librarying. But, I'll find out for sure tomorrow.

And, happily, before I could even get this entry launched, I got a call from a client who's been out for a month and he's got some stuff for me to do!!
