You know those people who stop and block traffic in the middle of a parking lot aisle and just park waiting for someone to pull out? I don't see a lot of that here in Seattle but I always see it at Costco. Generally, the person driving the car who's spot they are waiting to take is just now checking out at the cashier. And there are TONS of empty spots maybe 30 steps further on down. But, no... we're going to sit there and just make everyone wait.
I am the laziest person on the planet but at least I am not senselessly rude. Geesh. At least we don't honk in Seattle. The rare times you hear honking in Seattle it's generally for Warning Danger not for You Asshole Notification. No honking is very nice.
I got gas. I got toilet paper. I got batteries and I got yogurt. And I got out for under $60. Not too bad.
The new brewpub next door is finally opening! It's the latest link in a small local chain http://www.elysianbrewing.com/. I don't care about the beer but their menu looks really interesting and I'm hoping they are going to be cool about take out. The sign says they are opening next Wednesday. Sherry, Lee, Scott and I are going for dinner.
When we were little, the last part of the bedtime tucking in ritual was saying our prayers. We each recited the exact same words the exact same way for years and years:
Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the lord my soul to keep.Little Baby Bill will be 53 years old tomorrow.
If I should die before I wake, I pray the lord my soul to take.
God, Bless Mommy and Daddy and Susie and Nancy and Little Baby Bill.
