A Paid Announcement!

susandennisMs. Make Me Crazy scheduled a meeting this morning from 10-11. The instructions were that I was to review the material she would send from 10-10:30 and then we'd chat about it at 10:30. She sent a bunch of emails but nothing to review so I'm using her billable time to update!
The computer has been torn apart, blown out, cleaned out as has the Under The Desk. It was disgusting. I could have built 3 more Jakes with the cat hair under there. Interestingly, the inside of the computer was pretty darned dust free. Dell may sell exploding batteries but their CPU cases are pretty darned good.
I had a bit of a twitter with the keyboard. When I first brought the computer up, it did not recognize it. Yikes.
Tricky thing about USB keyboards. They will fail every time UNLESS you plug them in. Doh.
As expected, the webcams did not want to all come back up and fought over their USB ports, but I explained that they had no choice and they eventually fell in line.
But, now, everything seems to be working. Everything is clean. I made a bed for Jake in between the two external harddrives in the dark corner - all covered with a sheet. The curtain is back over everything and I am exhausted. Fat old ladies should not be crawling under desks. I'm sure there's a law. I'm done.
Oh and a special thanks to my neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Linksys for the kind use of their wireless connection. Bless you.
