Another day, another doctor visit

susandennisThis whole doctor thing is losing it's luster. Oh, wait, it never had luster. Well, it's moved from stressful to just fucking annoying. Today I go in - first appointment of the day. They aren't ready. I still had to wait.
Then the nurse asks me what I'm there for. Because the doctor told me to be there. Then she asks me what medication I'm on. Whatever it was the doctor told me to take. She did forget to weigh me which I thought was pretty funny. The doctor was also kind of annoying. She took my blood pressure which the nurse had already done and then added in a new pill and told me to come back in a week.
When did I sign up for weekly visits????? On the up side, after next week, the doctor's gone until after Labor Day so I can quietly drop dead on my own if I want.
Then I discovered that the pharmacy didn't open for another hour. Fuck. The one a block away didn't either. Double Fuck. I'm thinking it was a lot more fun back when I wasn't doing this weekly. I've got more fun things I could do with that $20.
Oh but the fast lab did turn out to be a no brainer. No pee only blood and the vampire was very good at it. She worked hard to find a spot. I thought for a minute she was going to ask to see my third arm but she found one and if I hadn't watched the needle go in, I would not have known it did. It was a very fast lab.
And... I accidentally walked out with a People magazine. I'll take it back next week. But, I'll read it thoroughly first.
