The restaurant is really really nice. It's not a pub, but rather a toney eatery and drinkery. Nicely done. And the food was really really outstanding. The menu is limited but nice. Scott had salmon - really nicely presented with a lot of care and artistry. He said it tasted good, too. Sherry had a portabella pannini that she said was good. I had a Kobe beef hamburger that was just perfectly done and beautifully presented with pommes frites that were way too good to be called French fries.
Our waiter was fun and nice and gave us the inside skippy on stuff. PLUS, he also got us the phone number and I stole a menu so we're good on the 'to go' bit. After they settle in a bit, I'm going to work on teaching them room service!
We did find out they had a friends and family and neighbors night last night and we didn't get invited. We used this info to acquire a free pitcher of brew.
