susandennisIt's hot. It's hot in here. Outside, in the shade, it's actually very nice. But that won't last long. I took a little stroll early this morning a few blocks over - to the post office to return my Netflix. But, as soon as the sun hits, it will be hot like the rest. I'm so tired of hot.
The Mariner game is on radio only this morning. They will get creamed by Detroit. But at least it will be over by about 1.
I have now seen 2 new shows of the TV fall season. Both are on Fox and were panned by the critics and I liked both of them! Vanished and Justice. Since the critics are also panning most of the other new shows, I'm very encouraged that this year will bring some enjoyable TV. I do appreciate Fox's starting early. Very considerate of them.
My two Netflix choices were interesting. I only made it through 30 minutes of Marian Bridge. But, I was mesmorized by Cockettes. It was a fascinating look at San Francisco during my college years (67-71) and getting ready to join the real world. It was my time and my contemporaries and while I heard rumors, we really got no news of what was happening on the west coast. So this was fascinating.
I expect the work action to pick up tomorrow. Or maybe not until Wednesday. But, this week will be the turning point - away from bored. I have a lunch meeting in Redmond on Wednesday and then an all day meeting on Thursday. The all day meeting is at the convention center in downtown Seattle and, hopefully, after the first few hours I can disappear. In any event, I can bus it easily.
ohh The parking lot is filling with RVs... hmmm - ok, so turns out Thursday starts a 4 day RV show at the Qwest Field Exhibition Center. It's always something.
I'm outta bits for now.
