New hardware
Sep. 8th, 2006 06:09 pmMy little Fujitsu Lifebook is just not up to the task. It does not have enough memory to be functional at all. By the time it boots up and gets connected to anything, I'm already home and on my desktop. It's not upgradeable.
So it's time to find something else. I needs to be lightweight (under 2.5 lbs) and small. I'm thinking maybe the Fujitsu 1500 - I'd have to upgrade the battery and I would absolutely top out the memory to 1Gig.
I sent the link to my bro asking what he thinks. I'd also welcome comments and ideas from anyone else!
Other than lame computer, my meetings at MS were great. Two different groups, two very different projects. Both very interesting and both meetings were about planning future stuff that translates to "Lots of Nice Work For Susan Dennis". I was totally prepared and wow'd 'em. It felt very good.
I've got work work for the weekend but first... dinner. I decided not to do restaurant take out tonight - there's a Mariner game in town and I'm sure they are slammed. Didn't want to fight the crowd.
