susandennisPatty and I had a great dinner last night. The brew pub next door is just a nice, nice, nice place. With good food.
We had a good visit and since she had taken the bus into town, I gave her a ride home. And, we dropped off my very nearly due library books. 2 birds, 1 stone. etc.
I was wrong about the toothpaste prescription. The prescription is for a year but only for 2 refills. I have new respect for Rush Limbaugh and others who abuse the prescription drug thing. I can hardly score my fair share of cheap generic toothpaste.
Jake is going through some kind of kitty emotional thing. He's all of a sudden on my 24/7 like velcro. I could barely find him all Summer and now I can't shake him. He seems to change personalities about every six months or so. Kind of amazing for a 17 year old cat!
Patty had not heard about Mom's or my friend, John's dying so last night I had to tell both tales. I really do miss them both. I hope they are having a good time.
This isn't much of an entry but I'll try to do better later today. It's a good day. Cool and wet and refreshing.
