Getting Caught Up

susandennisI got a good bit of work done this morning and then saw a little window of opportunity and took it. I hopped into the car and went to the library and then the grocery store and then I even stopped at the car fix it place and made an appointment for Monday morning to get the oil changed and the check engine light turned off. I figured I don't need to be fucking around with car trouble when Scott and Julie are here. (This tablet handwriting app really did not wont me to use the word fucking. I persevered.)
We had a substitute mail carrier today. Normally we get our mail about 1ish. Sometimes later. Today it was in the boxes by 9:30! That kind of thing can throw your whole day off!

bemocked suggested that Jake's recent personality charge might be due to the weather being cooler. I think she may be Right and now I'm seeing a change in Betty, too. Both cats are fairly attentive at least for cats. But now that it's cooler, it seems like Ihave more uses than just for dishing up food. They are pretty funny to watch. They both want to be on my lap or to si next to me but neither wants anything to do with the other one.
Ok. Back to work now.
