susandennisIf every note you send me implicitly or explicitly reveals that you believe me to be an idiot, one note exclaiming how valuable I am to your team ain't going to fly. Just because I'm not wearing a skirt does not mean I can't tell when you are blowing smoke up it.
If I give a week's notice that I won't be available and you wait until the last minute to make arrangements, it ain't my fault. Now, if you fall on your sword and admit that you blew it, and are working hard to make it all right and understand that I'm not going to change my plans nor should I, then I'm not nearly as pissed and might even make some helpful suggestions.
I'm just saying.
