susandennisI finally got a call back tonight from the eye doctor's office. The very nice lady explained that she could send me the prescription or fill it for me. She said they have competitive pricing and they would take care of the insurance. So I said, ok, how much? (1-800-Contacts is $15 a box if I buy a year's worth at one time or $19 one box at a time.) She says $30 a box.
Now, my insurance will pay for the $30 a box but it's the principle of the thing and I have to go pick them up. Plus 1-800-Contacts will take my unused lens trade.
Eye doctor's office lady was very nice about it and said she'd mail me the prescription and drop me a reminder note to come back in a year. Nice.

Then I got an email from the online pharmacy. The dentist renewed my toothpaste prescription! Nice.

Oh I decided to keep my nice not-local-any-more ISP at least one more year. They have employees here still and they are just the best. Worth the extra $. And they have been my ISP for 10 years!
