susandennisSo.... I add a few more things into the mix of rebuiding the desktop. One of them requires a reboot. The fucker never comes back. For a while I thought it was hardware - like a screen driver cause the screen was blank. But, then I got it up in safemode (I am never going to unplug that PS/2 keyboard - best $2 I ever spent). So I rolled back.
I think the problem was caused by a plug getting knocked out of one of my external harddrive but by the time I discovered that, I was already repregnated. So... it's find the damn network adapter again, reload the antiviurs, redownload IE 7, install this, update that... I hate computers.

1-800-Contacts sent me a label and return thing for my old unused contacts. I stuck 'em right into the box they sent my new ones in, taped it up, slapped the label on and took it down to the mail carrier who was putting the mail into our boxes. Could that be more simple?
The mail carrier was dancing in the lobby. He had just heard from the homeless woman at the coffee shop that Rumsfeld had resigned.
It's a funny day - and... it's not raining.
