A good Costco find...
Nov. 9th, 2006 05:43 pmI did get to Costco. I now have steak, coffee, butter and gas. BUT I also snagged a new thing.
Hibatchi House Soy Ginger Chicken
It's in a black and red box in the freezer section. It was about $9 I think. There are two dinners in the box. Chicken Breast Meat with Sticky Rice and Soy Ginger Sauce.
I was a little underwhelmed when I pulled the bag out of the box but I was committed. So I nuked it for the required 4-5 minutes. Then I put it in a bowl and stirred in the sauce - it didn't seem hot enough (and it didn't look very appetizing but again... I was committed) so I hit it for a couple more minutes.
YUM!! I mean this stuff is very tasty. The rice is just right and the chicken is flavorful and moist. One bag is two meals for me. What a treat!
