Both yesterday and today I slept really late for me. No clue why but I do appreciate the luxury of being able to do so. Maybe it was the cool - sometimes there's just nothing better than snuggling back under the covers instead of putting a foot out in the chilly.
I need to make a grocery/library run today but the Seahawks are playing across the street so I'll need to hold off until after kick off. No biggie. It's a chilly, windy, rainy day but, amusingly, none of that is putting much of a dent in the early morning tailgate parties. It's 10 a.m. and the grills are out, the tents are up the flags are out and there is action in the 'hood. I love living here.
I think after I quit killing time here at this computer, I'll switch to my work computer and do a couple of hours there or maybe even just work until after the game gets started.
I'm supposed to toss and replace my contact lens every 2 weeks. I never remember. I end up wearing the same ones for a month or more. The doctor and her assistant both counseled me against extending the wear of the non-extended wear ones that I have. I keep a pen and pad in the drawer with the contact stuff so that I will write down the date I change them. Only standing in the bathroom I can never remember what date it is.
Doh. This morning I printed out a Year on a Page calendar and put it in the drawer with a highlighter. Wonder why in the heck it took me 7 years to come up with this bright idea???
