katbyte very appropriately labeled me a snow sucker. I was lying in bed listening to NPR this morning when they told me it was snowing in Seattle. I blasted to the front window. It was still dark but even so I could tell those bastards were lying sacks of shit. Hilariously, it is now 3 hours later and they are still saying it is snowing in Seattle. And it still isn't. There isn't even any snow on the ground high up on the hill where the Amazon building is. I think the radio guy must have a snow screen saver on his computer and he's confused. There's no doubt... I am, indeed, a snow sucker.
Oh well.
I finally rebooted the LifeBook last night. It had been well over a week of getting those popups saying I should reboot. I was expecting a call from the update team at MS 'What part of reboot aren't you getting, bitch??'. I have total confidence now in my little 'don't ever reboot me without my permission' fix.
Leaving now for breakfast with Sherry and Lee and then home for a nice Sunday afternoon. It is quite chilly out. Could be a nice afternoon for a fire in the fireplace.
