The avalanche that didn't

I figured today would be busy crazy and it was not - not even close.  We've got one launch Thursday morning and one on Friday morning but I think everything is really done. 

So I loaded Bounce Out onto the Lifebook and remembered how to play.  I bought it from Gamehouse before Gamehouse was sucked into Real so I have a registered version free of Real crap.  I hadn't played in a long time and had forgotten - but, it's like getting back up on the bike. 

In effect, I kind of had my own snow day.  I did read this afternoon that Microsoft was closed.  I rarely have any clue where the people I work with actually are so I don't know if groups I'm working with now were in the office or not.  Doesn't matter bit.

It is very cold here tonight - my terrace, which usually registers warmer than reality - is saying it's 28 degrees.  It also says that inside - here at this desk - it's 65 degrees and I don't think it's quite that cold.

But, I think a fireplace fire is in order... Oh and for those who want to see it 'live', the new web cam is slated to arrive on Thursday!
