Attitude and Toilet Paper
Jan. 12th, 2007 11:40 amI like the Kirkland brand of toilet paper better than any I can find anywhere else so I buy at Costco. Once I ran out and was at a grocery store and picked up a couple of rolls of Scott. I used one but the other is in the back of the shelf. I know when I can see that one, it's time for a Costco run. I've been seeing it now for a couple of weeks and just haven't gotten there. It is now the last roll on the shelf. Time to step up the to the Toilet Paper Crisis.
I think that a primo Costco vist time will be 10 a.m. on Sunday. That's when the Seahawks game starts. I think I can stave off the Toilet Paper Crisis until then.
I'm having a fight with Outlook. It's about fonts. I hate Times New Roman with a passion. I hate, hate, hate it. On most of my computers I just delete it. I tried that on this one and it didn't work. Outlook is still using it. When I hit reply, the note I am replying to is in Times New Roman. I have changed every font option I can find in Outlook and in Word and cannot trip over this one. It's making me beyond crazy.
And my attitude isn't so good today anyway. No particular reason. Just crabby.
All the poking around the drain in my bathtub has escalated the problem. A worrisome slow drain has now turned into a fairly well clogged drain. After my shower this morning there was about two inches of water left standing for a good while.
Jake loves to hop in the shower when I'm done and play with the drops. He was quite the shocked cat when he got in there this morning only to discover - too late - that there were more than drops! I failed the PEETA test. I was laughing at him too hard to help the poor guy. By the time I recovered enough he had gotten himself out and had taken his wet legs and destroyed dignity to another part of the house.
Meanwhile, I've been pouring in the vinegar and Alka Seltzer. I think we're talking plumber here.
Oh well.
Edit: I just pulled out my GSBA Directory and found Big Jim's Plumbing. Big Jim is coming a week from Monday. I think I can hold off the floods til then.
