Yes, it is still snowing!

susandennisAmazing. It's snowing but it's not accumulating. Strange. When I'm sitting down all I can see is the snow, I can't see that it's disappearing when it gets to the street so I can pretend that I'll be watching sleighs delivery passengers to the Amtrak station across the way tonight.
It really is pretty. On the downside, I heard on NPR that there is a burn ban in effect this afternoon through Monday. This means no fire in the fireplace. I could pretend I didn't hear it. I don't think the burn ban police will arrest me but I would feel so guilty. Warm and cozy but guilty.
I have had a really productive day. I was all caught up with work including one really odious task that I have to do every month and hate. I was quite proud of getting it all done before it was due. Just as I was making myself a sandwich I heard the bug app alert go off. Snap. Oh well.
When I looked there were two. One is simple and the other has to wait until Monday anyway. Excellent.
So after this little update, I'm going to tidy up the kitchen and then put last week's laundry away and then I plan to carefully place large butt chaise and pick up the latest Teddy-in-progress and watch some TV and knit maybe until Monday. With a Costco trip tucked in tomorrow morning.
