susandennisOk, the first yummy is my new find of Goldilocks. According to Lee, this is one of the most famous businesses in all of the Philippines. She says in the olden days (probably she means 20 years ago), Filipinos used to make pilgrimages to Vancouver which was the closest place you could buy any of their products. I see by their website they now have stores in California.
Lee and I got a selection of stuff. We broke open her Ube rolls and they were ok. I really need purple foods to taste like grape. But they were ok. Tonight I tried the Marble Slice cake. It's a vanilla sponge cake with chocolate running through it. Very light and Very moist and Very Yummy. I am so sorry I only got one slice.
Lee says that the Goldilocks supply comes in to the Japanese grocery on Fridays. This could become a Friday habit.
And the other yummy?? I just found out that Hugh Grant has a movie coming out in February!! I won't see it in February because I'll wait for the DVD but it does mean that he might well be making the talk show circuit and I'll get me some good Hugh doses. Yummy!!
