susandennisOk, I don't know what the third annoying thing of the day is yet, but I'm tired of waiting so I'm moving on.
I spent a fair amount of time being very pissed at the annoying estate lady. Then I spent a few minutes conjuring on what her life was like when she discovered how she had fucked up. This is a woman who is the poster girl for deliberate week. I'm guessing her house is sterilized clean. She takes forfreakin'ever to get things done because she checks and asks and checks and then consults and then checks to make sure it is right.
I have been pressuring her to close this estate yesterday. Originally, she made the mistake of telling me that the state of South Carolina requires 8 months of inquiry so it would take at least that long. Mom died on March 17. On October 18, I started applying the heat. And now look what it's done to her. I'm guessing she got a little taste of hell when she realized what she had done. I'm ok with that.
If you want a kind and forgiving and generous person, find another journal to read.
I sent my brother and sister and email and told them that when they got their money to save $560 of it to send right back - that they would be getting an invoice due to the error. I did not expect a problem from my brother and I did get a sympathetic note from him but my sister also replied that she was ok with it. Whew.
And work has not been on my ass. I got all caught up but now it's piling again and my sandwich is eaten so I'd better get back to it.
