Glob-o-rama!

susandennisBig Jim the plumber was here. He snaked a giant glob of hair. When I got it into a plastic bag for tossing out, it was the size of a softball! He said he one time snaked out a bigger one from the woman's crisis shelter at the YWCA. But, for single occupant of a private home, I got the Biggest Glob He's Ever Seen award.
$108.26. He was 20 minutes late (but he called exactly at 9 to tell me he was on his way) and it took him longer to go back to the truck and make out the invoice than it did to get the giant glob out of my drain. It was fascinating to watch. Besides having the right tool, he clearly knew exactly what he was doing. And he was really nice and especially nice to Betty.
The sucking sound of a bathtub drain is wonder music when you pay $100 to hear it!
