susandennisGottaPlay sent me an email just now that they are refunding all of my money. Of course, I'd have been happier had they not shared my credit card number but the fact that they caved so quickly on the refund makes me feel a bit better.
And today I finally got my the card for my new health insurance. I called the dr's billing office and fessed up to using the old card and she was very cool about it and appreciative of my call. I gave her all the info and offered to send her $5 to cover the difference in the co-pay and she told me to wait and she'd send an invoice.
The booklet that came with the card gave me the best news. The online pharmacy deal of my old insurance? Medco? The ones I like so much? The new insurance uses them, too!!! So I called and got TJ who was very nice and just moved all my prescription info from the old account to the new one. henare told me that the same thing happened to him once but I figured Murphy was going to fuck me over. Sorry, Murph.
I do have to wait until the old insurance company sends me a bill for the drugs I bought last week and then I can pay that and file a claim for all of it. TJ told me I have a year and I said that I thought I could meet that deadline.
All is good. Nice when it works out.

And, Jake is having his name changed to Frito Bandito. I have found 3 fritos today in various parts of the house. Betty is not at all interested in human food but Jake will steal the fucking frito out of your mouth if you aren't paying attention. Apparently someone must have left the bag unattended at some point.
