So... I use this special prescription toothpaste. I have now for about a year. I like it a lot and it really helps. My teeth are happy. My prescription was for a generic version and under my old insurance it cost me $3.50 a tube which I thought was an exemplary deal. I like the brand stuff better than the generic but for $3.50, I could make do.
The new insurance, however, is a different story. Now they want $6.50 for the same generic and $7 for the brand. Ok, now there's a reason to switch.
I figured this all out yesterday (Sunday) afternoon and I sent an email to my dentist office - info @ and attached a PDF for them to fill out and fax to the online pharmacy. I explained that I wanted them to specify the brand version, please.
Now, keep in mind, these people are not happy that I have not been in for more than a year. I keep expecting them to hold this prescription hostage but they, kindly, do not. And, this morning... BEFORE 9 a.m. I can see the new prescription in the online pharmacy!!!!
I love the digital age. Love. Love. Love it.
Ok, bug beeper just went off. Play time is over. Someone wants something fixed.
