Ramble, Ramble

susandennisWith Spring comes baseball which I love. With Spring comes leaves on the Tree That I Hate, which I hate. Yesterday, there was something going on down on the corner and I could not see what it was because of the fucking trees. And they don't even have leaves on them yet. Just fat, ugly, buds. The leaves are going to make a bad situation worse. I get so spoiled in the winter.
I took the car in to learn that I do not know how to put the gas cap on correctly! The damn thing had been just resting on top of the gas tank hole since the last fill up which was probably in November. Criminy. I got the oil changed and he told me that unless I drove it more not to come back until at least September or October.
There is a major Goodwill drop off station on the way home from the car place and I actually remembered to pull in and dump off the trunk load of stuff that I cleaned out from my closet last weekend. I was proud. I figured I'd be driving around with that stuff for months. Not so!
I was a big fan of Google widget but now I love Vista widgets and my new favorite is a little box on my screen that tells me what today's Woot is with a little picture and the price. I can't wait until the next Woot off.
There's a work situation that is being challenging. In the big picture it is a nit. It is taking way more time than it should because of one stupid ass bitch who is lucky she is 20 miles away. But, I am paid by the hour and this project really doesn't care how many hours I charge. So I really need to get over it and realize that some people are just stupid and I'm lucky that I get paid by the hour and only have to deal with her in email. She did call here once but I was so mean to her that she won't try that again. This would be a good time for me to find that fucking high road and see about taking it.
