I was going to go deliver the bears this morning but my one really good nice project manager just called to say she has to go to Redmond for a meeting and could I cover her bugs while she was out?  Whew keep me away from meetings and I'll do whatever you want, sweetheart!!  The bears can wait until tomorrow.

I'm really really enjoying these podcasts while I'm at the gym.  They are interesting and hold my attention.  My player is doing nicely except I have discovered a feature that is required that I don't have.  I don't know if any MP3 player does.  I need to stop the podcast.  Mid-podcast.  And be able to start it there again tomorrow.  Possible?  (I don't know if an IPod does that but if it is the only one, I'll get by without.)

My little Apacer which is in every other way, wonderful, requires me to fast forward to where I was.  And fast forwarding is painful - literally.  You have to put your thumbnail in one spot on this tiny wheel and hold down hard while it ticks through second by second.  It takes about 2 minutes of holding to get 10 minutes in.

My podcasts are usually a little over an hour.  I listen to them 30 minutes at a time.  That second day is a thumb killer.

My Ikea lamp bulb burned out.  It uses an Ikea bulb.  Not available on their website.  No way am I going all the way to Ikea (25 mins) for a stupid light bulb.  I hope.  There's a light bulb store (seriously Mr. Bulbman) not far from here.  I'm going to give him an opportunity to compete on this bulb.

So, when Anna gets back from her meeting, I think I'll make a quick run out to Mr. Bulbman which a stop at the library and a quick stop at the grocery store.  If I can do it and get back before 4.  I have to pay attention to the baseball schedule now for the next six wonderful months to know when it's nuts to try and go anywhere or come home.  I don't mind one bit.

Time to get to work. It's a slow morning but I have a couple of pages that need to be built and staged and now's as good a time as any!
