Brunch Nazi

susandennisNo brunch for me. This neighborhood has everything needed for a perfect Sunday brunch - except eaters. So no brunch. Not even in the hotel. It's a Silver Cloud and a very nice looking one but, apparently, it's not the one you want if you want to eat before 11. The doors to the restaurant are locked until 11. I was there at 10:52. I didn't even bother to stick around to look at the menu. If they aren't open until 11 there will be no eggs benedict. Fuck

I walked home and got into the car. It was too later for an Egg McMuffin (or my personal favorite - a sausage biscuit) so I decided to try the Breakfast All Day at Jack in the Box. You know, I like the Jack in the Box menu and I like the selection and I like the taste but they are the slowest freakin' people on the face of the earth. They do not get the Fast part of fast food. I'm rarely go at rush hour and even so, I swear I have passed birthday's in their drive through line. I give them a try every few months and it never gets better. I'm good now until at least July or August when I might try again but I might not.
I think I'm finally understanding the whole play list - organizing thing on my MP3 player. I downloaded another book - this time from the other audio book option that my library offers. This one is a Vince Flynn. I love his stuff and I am tickled to find his latest. Neither of these audio book libraries have a huge selection so this is a treat.
I tried a couple of authors - one book each - I had not read before and neither made the cut. My 50 pages rule has kind of morphed into a 15-30 minute rule. Keep my interest or I'll move right along - this morning, I fell back on one of my This American Life podcasts. Nice.
Another Mariner game today... So far we're not losing which is a relief. Top of the 2nd.
