Why waffle now?

There was a bit of a break in the action earlier so I hopped in the car and went down to the appliance store.  The smaller, locally owned one.  They do have high end stuff but some low end stuff, too, as it turned out.  And a very nice sales guy with whom I bonded instantly.  

I pretty much picked out the one in the picture but I think I'm going with black.  (No good reason for the black decision except I think it looks cool.  It goes behind a door and no one sees it but me. 

It's a Frigidaire.  And, yes, legalmoose, thank you!  It does come with a $50 rebate from the city water folks cause it's one on their list of efficient washers.

I did not buy it yet.  Aaron told me all I had to do was call him and we could finish up the sale over the phone.  I'm not sure why I haven't called him yet.  I am usually the queen of the snap decisions.

This one wasn't his cheapest and wasn't his most expensive.  And he did 'sell' me on the front loader for sure.  I've never had one - should be interesting.  I can't say I'm too impressed with the soap tray thing.  I can see laundry soap all over the carpet from here on out.  Oh well. Glad I don't ever use bleach!

I started this entry about 3 hours ago.  Then wok caught up with me and then, somewhere in the middle of that, I just called my new best friend, Aaron The Sales Guy, and ordered the set.  I got the black. It will be here on Friday.  Morning.  Aaron asked if I could get some clothes dirty by then and I told him I'd try my best.
