Enforced break

susandennisMy work mostly comes in via bugs.... and nearly all of it is creating/editing web pages via an internal tool called Site Builder.
This morning the database that runs my bugs was down. So... I couldn't see what my assignments were. That got fixed and now Site Builder is having fits. Good thing it's today and not yesterday. We had a major launch and either one of those problems would have caused people jumping off of roofs. Today there is a lot of stuff to be done but none of it has a due date of immediately. So, after Site Builder spit on me for the 3rd time, I figured it was LJ time!
Well, lunch and LJ. Broccoli quiche. Oh and the Mariner game on the radio. They are playing Oakland this afternoon. They actually won again last night. Amazingly.
Tonight Sherry and Lee and I are going to trot down to the new Hotel Restaurant That Does Not Server Brunch. I was going to write it off all together but one of my neighbors posted a menu on our bulletin board in the garage. And they had some pretty interesting and yummy looking things so we figured we'd try it tonight.
The Mariners come home tomorrow so this is it for a good opportunity until their next road trip. (It is just across the street from the stadium so trying it while the team is at home is nuts.) Tonight might me a little dicey anyway. There is a huge MotorCross thing going on at Qwest field (the football stadium which is also right here). It does not start until Friday but the parking lot is already full of giant trucks of MotorCorss stuff.

The place where I bought the new washer/dryer called to confirm delivery tomorrow morning after 9:30. I assured the nice man that I had dirty clothes all ready.

Oh... just got note that Site Builder was fixed. Guess I'd better get back to work so I can pay for the washer/dryer!
