susandennisHoley crappoli, there is some bad mojo out there if you click wrong. I tried 8 ways to Sunday to identify and get the crap that I fell into yesterday off my computer. The killer turned out to be something called Popnav and my lesson for today is about being hijacked. Ugly. Really ugly.
The good news is that I had a restore point from Monday so I just rolled back time. The Great Windows XP Do Over!
But, now I'm worried about Mom. She's on Windows 2000. I think maybe next time I'm out there, she's getting an upgrade. I just cannot afford to have her click wrong. My brother keeps saying that the UI will be too much of a leap for her but I think it's time she lept - I can set her up to use 'classic' view and she can just bite the bullet on the rest.
