Already spending frivilously

I looked in the fridge for lunch and nothing spoke to me... So I figured it was fitting to celebrate my new paycheckless state by buying myself lunch - General Tso's at the deli! I thought maybe I was too late - they run out sometimes so I rushed over and all three of the ladies in the kitchen were there with their big smiles... 'Am I too late?' .... 'you?! Never! We would make new if we were out!' I love those ladies.

Yummmmy! And I have enough left over for dinner. I think somewhere in the tight budget there is going to have to be room for General Tso's. It's just too good.

That just reminded me of the *slimmers sandwich* that i bought yesterday...I opened it up and filled it with real butter and real mayonnaise!

Even if your prospects didn't look as good as they do, you should absolutely budget the important frivolous spending. [Says someone who was never laid off. And now can't be. :-)]

General Tso's Chicken is NOT frivilous spending! Quite the contrary.

We need quality sustenance to job search. Besides, it gets monotonous cooking every meal yourself at home.

I go even a step further, I have it delivered. :)
