Lost morning...

At least I got in a good, long walk with lots of nice pix, but then I had to ruin it all by coming home and doing my taxes.

I had a huge huge fight with them. I finally finished but if my number is up in the old auditing lottery, I am on the way to the federal pen. Maybe they will let me keep my Treo with me so I can at least keep LJ current. Cripes. I only owe $127 but I am pissed that I owe anything. I did file electronically and told them to suck the funds out of my bank account on April 1. My little April Fool's day joke.

Then, if that wasn't enough, I had a knock down drag out battle with my fucking printer. Now this piece of shit only cost something like $50 to start with and that was several years ago or maybe more. It's an Epson and it is prone to fits. I haven't used it much because if I had printing to do, I did it at work. So now that that option is gone, it's taking a stand.

Two reboots and several unpluggings later... I finally told it that if it didn't print properly this time, it was going into the trash and I was going to haul out the Lexmark that I got free with this computer last year. That Lexmark has been quietly sitting in the closet and is ready to rock and roll... The threat apparently did the trick. On the next try, nice print outs. Finally.

I am taking the rest of the day off. Seriously. This ass is going to the chair. I will knit and watch TV until I don't want to any more.
